Around a couple of dozen, medium to large bulbs and a couple of small.
Kept dry, out of the direct sunlight with good ventilation. Your garlic box is a good place. Your bulbs should keep until late Autumn.
From there, they’ll become sprout prone, they’re still perfectly good to eat or even better – break into individual cloves and plant.
Smaller bulbs are the last to sprout, keep the longest, so best to use last.
